Detroit area riders....
I have the opportunity to get a job at the nuclear plant south of Detroit. I need to know if there are road racing tracks and good twisties in the area. This is more important to me than salary. Also, what type of radar is used by the MSP? Thanks fellers.

Hey 12Rpilot. Grattan is about 2 hours from the Fermi plant. I have not been on it but know several that have. It is supposed to be an excellent track with lots of elevation changes and a track that is in excellent shape. They have things every weekend and you can get on the track for CHEAP! Are you going to be an employee of Edison or a contractor? It'd be good to have another fellow board member around here. Need4speed, FinalVelocity, Wilson, ZX12Girl, Kzz1 and myself are all from this area.

OH, and dont' forget, MidOhio is only 2 1/2 hours south too so you can come to the races with us in July and they also have track days. I really want to go Grattan and ride so come on up, I'll join ya. I've lived in this city for 30 of my 35 years so if you have ANY questions, email me.

I'll be an operator for Edison. I have a buddy that has been nagging me to come over and work for him. Besides, I gotta get out of Illinois. I've had the chance to ride at Grattan but didn't really look up it's location before. Looking forward to riding with you guys. Now to work on that resume........

Awesome.....12RPilot. We are two hours away but I travel to Detroit alot for work!!!!
The have an awesome Thursday Bike night in Royal Oak during the summer and a few good rides to go on!!!
