Off topic, pics of latest project...
Thought I'd share pics of the latest piece of funiture that I built. It's a cherry nightstand, Mission style to match the bed I made last year. Turned out really nice. I'm getting better, still only 1 year onto this hobby and I have a habit of making some stupid mistakes but all is good when you can fix them. Woodworking is a great thing. It has really become a passion of mine in during the long winter months here in Michigan. It requires focus, attention to detail is a hobby that lets your mind forget about any other stresses or problems you may have in your life, you get to use some excellent power tools like Surface Planers, Table Saws, Drill Presses, Jigsaws, Routers, sanders and the like and there is defintely a deep satisfaction on making something nice from a bunch of roughsawn boards. Anyway, I'm off of my off topic, just thought I'd share on a boring Friday.

Thanks guys. It really is a nice peice and yes Rick, Michelle is very happy with it. n da zone, that's actually a National Geographic magazine, you'r emind is in the gutter. LOL

Z, she is a Shepard Besenji mix. Very strange breed indeed. Female Besenji's only get to be 20 lbs. max and males like 25lbs. So I think she may have been a product of a rape. lol

Get a male Shepard and female Besenji and put them in an enclosed area for a while. Pretty cheap.

Beans, well for Hailey considering the Parvo she endured, gastroenteritis, reconstructed knee and a large bite in her side from another dog, she's cost me $8000 so far.

Otis, very nice job. And far better than the shit you buy in the store. I made this stand for my aquarium because I needed a custom size and the crap you could buy sucked. Woodworking is really fun.

That looks great Ted. I agree WW'ing is fun. Santa was VERY nice to me this Christmas. Check out the new tools that came my way.
DeWalt 703, 10" Compound Miter Saw, Delta Dedicated Morticing Machine, 2 Random Orbital Sanders (I'll be taking one back and getting something else), A Biscut Cutter, and a A Delta sharpening machine for my chisels.
