Dunlop Tire Test at Daytona
After two days of rain the boys finally got out on the track. Yesterday a LOT of laps were run and due to the bad weather the test has been extended into today.
One note to keep in mind is the reconfiguration of the chicane in the back stretch. With the new design it throws you out on the track way before the banking in NASCAR 3 so the times should be better than in the past. I was out walking that parts of the track a few weeks ago and it looks like a much better configuration. Plus it's been repaved through there which it needed.
I'll probably be back out there again in a little bit.

They watch these tires like a hawk. Mike Velasco is there has been calling back with tid bits and updates. The amazing thing is how many tires only have 1 or 2 laps on them. Unlimited budgets make it fun!

wouldnt that be to cool, be able to put a set of tires on anytime you wanted. I dont have that kind of funds....lol
