p1122,i did some research on your reccomendation on the air bypass, and mine were off,out 1/2 a turn.i spoke with a few people,1 mech,1 friend, and they said to go only 1 complete 360 deg.turn out.(1/2-3/4 on totally stock bikes)& 1 full turn for modified,(piped,etc..like mine,..)just curious as to why you would rec.2 turns?if the screws were not so hard to get at i'd just try em each way,but i wanna be 100%.where do you think i should go from here?the full 2 or start at 1,than 1.1/2 and work out to 2?is that what you meant.thanks.

The screws are an airbleed for the TB's when the throttle is closed. I set mine up w/ a sniffer hooked up. Found the best Off the bottom response at 2 turns out. Of course I set the syncro of the TB's w/ a carb stick afterwards.
The 2 out to start w/ setting REALY smooths out the transition from closed throttle to partial open throttle.

man those suckers are hard to get at!i guess by turning these out means more air in,and more air in means less gas making things leaner.i went 2 out.it seemed to smooth out 50%,but i think i might have,so it seemed, taken some punch out of the higher end.maybe it was me,it was kinda windy today.i'm gonna play with the map a little, and these, till i get it right.
