Recharge rear shock ?

I need to recharge my rear suspension on the 12 , anyone tried it already ?
I've read that i need to drill a small hole on the expension chamber plate to find the valve..

True ?

Race Tech did mine. Gold valved, new oil and recharged to 200 psi.

No quick and easy. I tried a local "Suspention" guy and he did not have the resources to re-cap the remote rezi and recharge without it bleeding off the high pressure.

If I remember right, $200-400 should get you set up!

I think i read in the 14 section that a dirt bike shop can just top up the nitrogen?

the original setup just has a rubber stopper and you use a needel to add pressure. not to mention that when you take that chrome cover off you see that it is actually recessed inside and the "reservoir" is mostly just for looks. i had a local guy do mine with shortening, revalve, respring, and reservoir cap (non-recessed, and proper valve) for about $300. talk to the local road racers and they usually know of decent suspension guys. thats how i found the guy that did mine.

So guys, what are we looking at here? can this be easily topped up with the "needle method" or do i need to have a different valve put in?
