Fast idle adjustment
I took the throttle bodies off my 2002 ZX12R to replace the injectors. I also took the fast idle spring loaded part off. When I put it back together the fast idle (or choke as some call it) works, but it will not touch the throttle part to make it idle fast. Does anybody have a photo of how the idler is supposed to be installed? I thought it only went on one way.

The reason I took it off is because I tried to make sure the screw was tight and it twisted off inside the bolt hole. I had to drill it out and rethread it. I thought I put it back together correctly. Is there anything I am missing? I did try to adjust the cable, but the part that pushes the throttle does not touch.

how close does it get? you can adjust it by turning a screw (slot head) have you moved the tps? that will affect it too

It touces it, but that's it. The slot head screw is adjusted as much as it can be. I didn't move the tps. This one has me confused. In the meantime I will just use the throttle adjustment screw to keep the rpm's up until it is warmed up, and then idle it down to 1000 rpm's. It is basically doing the same thing as the fast idle cable...just not as convenient.
