OK well I debated on should I respond to this or not because I don't want this to turn into or sound like a vendor bashing post...
So I will start by saying I've probably sent Muzzys hundreds of paying customers with my recommendations and website by voicing my experiences and advertising their products on my bike at races and on the internet with positive results. However I don't have any ties with Muzzys sponsorship or any vested interest here so I don't mind voicing my opinions, results, or honest facts about their products or any other vendor for that matter I'm just sharing my personal experiences be they good or bad.
Yes I have bought basically every Muzzys product out there and tested them all in race conditions and on the street. I've been very happy with the products and service. It's true I've had issues with some products but nearly all of them were resolved promptly. I say nearly because the exception is the lockup clutch which I never received an "official" response or fix from Muzzys only heard from other racers I've talked to who are also having the exact same problem. As you know I gave up on the lockup and sold it basically because I lost an important race because the lever broke (while doing a burnout) but the real final straw was when it broke (for the 3rd time) on the way up to the starting line at Maxton during the best time of the day to make record runs (no wind cool air in the morning) so I said screw it and removed it! I will say that the lockup would be a great product if the levers didn't shear off! I wish it had worked for me because I think it can only help during top speed runs or in heavy horsepower applications.
Yeah I guess also... I'm still not using the airshifter because I couldn't get it reliable enough for what I use it for (racing) however I believe the solution to that issue (missed shifts) is an anti-siphon tube and in-line expansion canister as well as moving the solenoid closer to the shiftlever. No I haven't bothered to test these fixes yet but I will this winter and post the results. I have seen many other people at the track who say they have no problems with theirs so I'm not giving up on the airshifter yet I know it will make me faster once I can get it reliable enough to count on at the track when it counts.
I'll end this by saying I've very happy with the Muzzys steering damper and all their performance products that I've tried such as the stroker crankshaft and titanium exhaust systems! The Muzzys swingarms are works of art and functional and I've bought them! Their clutch package including the hub and billet basket is reasonably priced etc etc. I've got them and used them and been very pleased with them and the results.

Bergie, it sounds like your 3 for 3.
1361 KIT,clutch hub kit,and swingarm hasn't broken in half.(things that worked for ya)
steering dampner,air shifter,lockup,(never worked for ya)
I guess thats not too bad.lol

Shit happens. From what I have been able to gether and determine Muzzy has been a stand up company. Still waiting for my packing ordered 3 months ago on my Ti exhaust can though! Pretty certain I have been lost in the system!!! Regardless they have been pretty stand up, and I know that Doug has tried to answer and or fix problems when brought to his attention.
I have to go and check my two bolts on that Scott damper now!!!

Bergie,you wouldn't think that exhaust was that great if you had the step Hindle.I've had both,night &day power wise.The only other exhaust worth comparing is the Force.IMHO Ofcourse

Cool get me a hindle sponsorship or one for free and I'll try it I'm unemployed right now.. wont be doing anything to the bike this winter unless it's free. There goes my big plans for next year, will just have to use what I have until it explodes

Actually, my MUZZT dampner, MUZZY cam sprockets, MUZZY Exhaust, MUZZY bore kit, MUZZY billet basket, MUZZY clutch kit, and MUZZY advancer have worked fine for me. NO, I repeat, NO problems!!
