Well the pix are cool but I sympathize with ya concerning the oil pan. Sounds like you have a handle on it, however. I gotta ask: what's the dome on your seat? Looks like the little covers over the security cameras at Walmart.

The thing on my seat is a half helmet... Always read for a chick to bail on.... It goes fastens right around the rear seat then just out it on.... Always ready... Better than carrying another full face all the time....

I guess I've been married too long to think of the extra helmet. Somebody needs to give me some bird doggin' lessons. I would love to pick up some stray.

AHA! So that's what it looks like in there!
Is that the shift fork thingy in-between a couple of what looks like tranny gears?
How many are there again?? 3? Looks like I see 1 on the left and two on the right.

looks like you needed an oilchange anyway ;P
so bottoming out your suspension allows hardparts to touch? have you lowered it at all?
seems like it shouldn't allow itself to fully compress suspension without *some* clearance left over....
weird...

I have the rear in the middle hole of Muzzy links and the front dropped at the tree about an inch.... The oil gets changed with Mobil 1 MX4T every 1000 miles... As I run NOS don't want it to bleed into the oil..... Don't take no chances..

I won't complain about my hollowed out Titanium oi plug bolt cracking! I would suggest stock (or at least near stock) suspension heights next time! Of course part of owning these things are pushing them near the limits occassionally.

Do you really push it just "occassionally"?

When ever the opportunity presents itself. I made a mental pact with myself about 27 years ago. After receiving a nasty gram from the state about my driving record. I decided that every single day from that time forward, If the bike starts and leaves the driveway, it will see at least 100 before the day is over.
