Layed the 12 down today, minor damage, parts needed.
I had a slow speed mishap today. Fueled by extremely cold tires, and the fact that I was riding with an extreme hangover didn't help things. I'm fine, but the bike needs a few parts.
Right side mirror.
Red right side winglet.
Clutch Cover.
I also broke the footpeg, but I may put the stockers back on until I can afford to order some new proteks.
Anyone got any of these items for sale?????

AT least you were "Doing" Something! I really hate seeing this happen to anyone! Were you wearing gloves and no scrapes on "YOU"!! OK Then!
I was going out for a ride this summer (Dam Summer is Over) and did not have the Bike pointed up hill enough and when I went to lock the gate! I heard the noise! I did not want to ever turn around! There it was! Even scraped it up a little more picking it up! I broke the left Foot Peg, Scraped the left side of the fairing and left mirror!
I repainted the left Panel and had perfect color match and (Being the Dummie I am) decided to "Improve the paint job by sanding it with 1500 flat panel sand for a more perfect finish! I got it alright! Now it reflects more light and looks lighter! Dam, I had a better finish than they did!
You just gave me an idea! Do that side of the fairing with the 1500 wet sand and match the finish!
Well your fall helped somebody!!

Thanks for the concern guys I appreciate. I did have my gear on and didn't get any scratches or anything. when I saw what was going to happen I just basically bailed.

Yeah I'm Ok.....
Yeah Chris, I'm Ok. Lil' Red needs a few parts though. It was a very mild "get off" and the bike suffered minimal damage. I was shocked that it didn't tear up more than it did. But as they say "Shit Happens". I really had no business riding at the time. Totally my fault, no doubt about it.

I've seen the word clutch TOO MUCH lately. I will replace my fibers though when I replace the clutch cover.

You're right Rick, we spend 3/4 of the day riding and the other 1/4 waiting on bart (go fast). I'd like to think if he had a red one that it would solve his problem but I don't think that is the fucking case. Oh, I'm wrong Otis told me he did have a "red one" sunday morning at the cabin. After you all had your way with him Sat night.They don't call him bart the cabin bitch for nothing.

Now boys, we all know that Bart is getting better, and don't forget he is getting additonal mods done this winter and I think he is attending a 13 week superbike school that provides mandatory 3 times a day bowls of corner speed. I would think that after 273 bowls of corner speed he will at least be in the same zip code as we are. No offense, of course, Bart, I think it's a well spent $15,000.
