Way off Topic ----- Go #6 Go !!
I know there are NASCAR fans and NASCAR bashers here but racing anywhere is fun to watch and the season comes down to today.
Mark Martin is the best NASCAR driver without a championship and a hell of a nice guy too. It would be nice to see him take it today. I really like Tony and don't wish him any bad luck, but if his nickname happened to his car today I wouldn't feel too bad.
Oh, for those of you who don't know, they call him "Smoke"
Go Mark !!

I am not much of a "Not A real Sport Centered Around Rednecks" but Martin is 100% class!

I hope Mark wins, but I hope Tony comes in 12th. It looks like the young guns are having a heck of a year.

Congratulations to Tony Stewart for the championship.
Also great job to Mark Martin and Jack Rousch, real class racers.

The most I know about Nascar and the drivers are the spotlight they get on The Best Damn Sports Show Period....saw it when Tony Stewart was on, really funny and competive guy, Winston Cup Champion....glad to see he won!!

I'm with ya Dave, I've been a die hard Martin fan since 1990. While I am also a Stewart fan and very happy for him, I was sooooo wanting Mark to finally win one.

Is Nascar better in person at the races then watching it on the television?

Is sex better when you do it or when you watch it on TV ?
Go to one race, you'll be hooked.

Me too C.
He's lives near Daytona most of the time and has done some cool stuff around here. It's also fun to see him every once in a while driving around town, just a regular guy with the racing suit off.
And there's another Martin in training ! http://www.mattmartin.net/

Dave,
Good to see you and your daughters in G'ville.
I agree with your NASCAR taste, Mark is a Champion in my eyes. The only consolation for me that Tony won is the car owner, I think Joe Gibbs is as good as they come. I've talked with him at several NHRA races and he has always been very congenial and sincere....I like him!
I thought the subject of your title might have been about Chad, he finished 6th in points...held 5th for quite a while though. If all goes well, he will be shooting for #1 next season.

Dave, one thing about Sex and TV, the Women usually have a Lot larger Hooters and will do more things!! Another difference is in person, you get to do the Driving with sex and with NASCAR, you are still watching!
