Getting even Awhile back I read a post about two riders in a small Mid-West town, who would periodically take off their license plates and race through town daring the local tax collectors to catch them. Something in me wants to rebel and fight against injustice and unfairness. Maybe next time I'm unjustly pulled over, I'll put the hammer down and dare the SOBs to catch me.

Have you ever watched Cops? Every, and I mean every single one, of the motorcycle chases I've watched on Cops ends the same way. Motorcycle takes off, cops chase it, motorcycle comes up on a traffic situation. SPLAT! End of motorcyclist. If you just need an occasional SPAT! in your life, I would suggest making pancakes, or maybe visiting a dairy. ____________

Thanks for the sound advise. I think my imagination got carried away with all the posts I was reading about people getting tickets for no good reason... My last ticket was precipated by a red mustang that wouldn't get off my ass. I changed lanes, slowed down, etc w/o success. My attention was so focused on the car that I didn't realize I was doing 10 over. Even though the cop saw and even commented about the tail-gaiter, he had no mercy, so I donated $130.00 to the Lynnwood city hall.

Hey, wait till you hear about this:
Last year, Zhooligan and I were riding Mt. St. Helen's...It was Sep 16, 01. Ranger Bob stopped us and popped us both for 62 / 45. I *knew* I wasn't going more than 48, and was seperated from ZHooligan by at least two curves. So we both mailed in the tickets, with a 'not guilty' box checked. Today, get a summons for court in Vancouver! Fuck! OR...can go ahead and pay the US District Court $250. It's a fucking scam job, I tell ya...I can't believe it's been over a year...

As old as Ranger Bob was he has probably retired since a year ago. I cannot friggin beleive this shit. 14 months later they send us a summons. These fuckers are trying to screw up my perfect driving record.

Define perfect. But the truth is I am agressive, I drive very fast, and occasionally exibit a tad bit of road rage. So taht said not perfect.
