compression ratio Muzzy 1361?

Someone know what is the comp. ratio with 1270 pistons machined for 1361, as it is when you bye from Muzzys?

I have heard both 13:1 and 13.5 :1 !

What is the comp. ratio for Muzzy 1361 kit with 1270 pistons, (no machining)?


Someone tried both?

Doug or someone else! I will recieve my kit next week, do you know if the "standard" is 13.5 : 1 or 13: 1 ???

Anybody? What comes with the standard 1361 kit? What compression ratios are there on the standard and the 1361 with 1270 pistons?

That's what it says in the "add" but the motor I built (1361-13:1) was less than that...

I don't think MadMike knows the exact comp. of his motor when he built it...Mike???

The owner of the company I work for...won't let me post much about what I do HERE...

My 1361 using the the 1270 pistons, stroker crank, the shim plate provided by Muzzy for the stroker motor and a standard thickness head gasket measures out at 14.2 to 1. Not exactly your get on it and ride to California on pump gas engine.

14.2 to 1 - Yow ! Don't want to get caught fueling in the boonies at Jim Bob's Discount Gas ! I'm contemplating doing this (Reg. 1270 pistons w/ stroker crank) but that might be a little much.

Anyone know if there are supplied cyl base gasket and shim under the cylinder on 1361 kit?
Anyone who have NOT installed the gasket?

I installed the spacer plate, but no gasket. My 1347 stroke is just a smidge shorter than a 1361 motor.
