thx Vic, buy a cheap mig that plugs into a regular 110 outlet and just try stuff out. if you can make something pass the BFH test its GTG.

8.70 @160 Na in the cool fall air would make me very very happy.
after xmas for the motor build. im still not supposed to pick up anything over 5 pounds

. i see the surgeon on the 8th for a check up(and is when i can start lifting stuff up to 20 pounds) , but a 200 pound motor is out of the question for at least a month. still sorting out cam selection too. but they will be big

looks good Scott. Whats the chain and brackets on the fork tube for??

almost_ les you can buy a lincoln mig at Lowe's we have a Hobart 110 but the lincoln welders are better i think.

looks like theres not enough room for the lights, so plan 4: get a set of small fog lights and run low beam only. something about 3x3x3in or smaller. just no room for a deep light.

Todd, the chain connects to the the brake caliper "straps"

I picked up a set of driving lights for $35 from canadian tire. they are 55w halogens and should work fine for low beams for the night time drag racing we have.
