is the 2003 service manual a thick book........???
or a CD ROM available in ACROBAT pdf....????

The 2002 is thick yes, $50 MSRP but I got one off eBay for $22 shipped to my door, brand new.
The 2003 one should be the exact same.

Oh yeah, about the CD-ROM thing...you can order the microfiche from Kawi, there is a part number listed for it. And I know you can find the microfiche which has been put on a CD-ROM on eBay usually for around $10.
I prefer the big service manual myself, easier and more conveinent. Plus you figure at $30, all you have to do is use it one time and it just paid for itself, compared to what the stealer, I mean dealer, will charge you in labor to find out a particular problem.
