Just pay attention when you remove everything and soak the fibers in oil prior to installation.

Spencercycle has a good photo tutorial. The basket is alittle trick to install, but everything else is a breeze!

Also, I have a question about soaking the fibers in oil. Does it have to be new oil? I still have a bucket full of oil from when I changed my oil last weekend. Can I soak the fibers in old oil?
Sorry if this is a total newbie question.

Easy to install...no "break-in"...just ride/race it however/whenever you want to...
TedG...I've seen no "ill efects" to the Drive Gear on John's (or any other) 12s...

Guys,
You don't need to "soak" them. Just put some clean oil in a flat pan and dip 'em, wipe the oil around with your fingers and install.

I thought so too doug....but 4 of my 2.0mm steels were warped apparently on the very first outing with the new fibers/steels.
All I did was coatem with oil prior to installing. Thankfully ronayers is replacing them under warranty as perhaps they were warped or defective from the factory *shrug

An excellent piece of equipment. It works really well, and with the oil holes they have provided my clutch stays oiled. I will probablt do pshyco's mod sometime when I have the engine apart but in reality I have found the Muzzy, hub, basket and clutch to be awesome.
