The last deal was a bit screwy in my opinion. Jason said everything would ship in 10 days. When I spoke with you, you said the 02 Muzzy stuff should arrive to you in 2 weeks. I called Muzzys and they said no 02 dampers existed, but were expected in 30 days or so... Maybe. I dropped out because I could not get a firm date and didn't want my money tied up for an unknown period. Same deal here. When I pay I want it shipped in a reasonable time. I don't want to wait two months. saving $XX isn't that big of a deal to me if I have to play the waiting game. I am an American damnit, I want it now, now, now! Besides that, I can't even use it for the next 5 or 6 months. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate your efforts and you have taken great care of me when I bought parts from you. But that is the way I like to do business.
"Doug, got it in stock? Great! ship it."
Come on Doug, I am going to the Casino this weekend, I will blow $500 on the blackjack tables before I toss in in the kitty for 2 months. Call me an American consumer 
How many people do you currently have commited?
How soon will the parts ship once you have 10 people commited?

well if you can not wait then we have them for regular price $550.00.
nothing was scewy about the last deal. I NEVER said 2 weeks and left it AT that. I was VERY clear with everyone and ALSO stated that, that was what MUZZY was telling us. The units are in stock AS OF NOW (muzzy) and and this is what MUZZY has stated to me. I am pretty sure we got the first units of the 02 dampers and that was what was holding the orders up. I would not ship out any till we had all ready to ship. I am going to do it opposite this time and ship what arrives to the order they were purchased.
I appreciate your business and respect your opinion. I just want everyone to understand that if a manufacturer gives us info on a product, then ALL we can do is relay it.
Your concern that you have stated is the reason we have not been able to get the group buy going on the wave rotors......there is a supply problem.
I do not want or like to tie money up either, i would rather get these deals done very quickly.
PS---always bet on black ...LMAO ! have fun
Just a note: PLEASE guys DO NOT start calling Muzzys and asking for stock check. They have them at the current moment and know that we are setting up a group buy. Just need 9 people to get this going.

in my defense,
i never said it would ship in 10 days, i said 2 weeks (chuckle). and i was relaying what muzzys had relayed to doug. my only role in the entire thing was in getting everyone on the same page so we could get a discounted price; and so we did.
nobody is more impatient than i, and believe me i did not enjoy the wait. however we were purchising a new product that was being machined; there can be no guarantee on time when that is happening.
that being said, i respect jse20's need to know, and refusal to pay if he cant know when , where and how. generally i feel the same, except for this case.
although it did take longer that i would have expected or liked, i do not feel as if i was misled, nor do i feel that i misled anyone as well.
it has been my experience that Myself, Muzzys and Doug are class acts that are not looking to beat of fool anyone; and thanks zhoo for what you are about to post(feeling psychic tonight).

Lets see if I understand this. Jason goes out and arranges a better deal then everyone else could get individually. He may or may not have been off by a few days or even a week or two on how quick the units were delivered. Now Jason and the supplier are bad guys or didn't keep their word?
Makes a guy really want to share good deals with the board. Myself I go out in the garage and just find the parts and pieces there. I don't have a clue on how they got there.

I never accused anyone of not keeping their word.
Actually Jason told me they would ship "in a week or two" and I have the email where he stated that.
I called Spencer Cycle and someone there told me Muzzys should have the dampers there in about two weeks. Maybe it was not Doug but I did call and that is what I was told
I called Muzzys and was told no "02" dampers existed. When I asked when they would be available I was told "in about 30 days maybe"
In my previous post I should not have written "The last deal was a bit screwy in my opinion." I should have said it "looked screwy to me" and that is why I dropped out
I didn't know anyone personally and the deal looked screwy to me when the supplier tells me they dont exist and wont for 30 days while Jason is telling me they will ship "in a week or two"

Bad guy might be the wrong word. But I can say that as I have watched all of this unfold, Jason and the supplier has and or have caught crap. And as we have all experience the aftermarket accessories market, it should be clear to everyone that at best the suppliers don't honestly have a clue when they will get the product unless they are the actual manufacture.
Hell Muzzy was susposed to have sent me a repacl for my Muzzy exhaust about three months ago. I gave up and bought someone elses pipe. And in the spirit of the original relaese of the ZX12..... I'm still waiting for the repack!

this is a copy of the mass email i sent prior to the deal. notice number 4 and the usage of the word "SHOULD". the fact is that it should have shipped in a week or two; the fact that it didnt was out of my hands. i'm not one to defend myself, but i will not have JSE20 smearing my good name when I took up a great deal of my own time to put this deal together for the boardmembers.
i repeated what was repeated to me be someone that had it repeated to him. there was nothing screwy about it and i resent the implication that there was. i think that rob muzzys and doug meyers reputations speak for themselves; jse20 should be a little more careful with his words in the future. check out number 6 too while you're looking.

A week or two, a week or so, 10 days, a couple weeks. WHATS THE FUCKING DIFFERENCE? You implied they would ship in a couple weeks while Muzzys told me they didn't exist and it would be at least 30 days.
So I dropped out. I didn't call you or anyone else liars.

Dont fucking accuse me of smearing your good name or imply I am accusing anyone of anything. I called it just as I saw it and made my decision.

Maybe as ZH said you and the supplier caught some crap about the deal, it was not from me. I never mentioned anything about it except to say why I dropped out.

At the price you quoted me Doug, I would be willing to commit. My only concern is how long until you get everyone else to get your 10 count. I am committing at that price, but there isnt much time left to ride my 12 this season, and if it gets too late too far out, then my interest wont be as desperate to get one as bad as I want one now.
Keep me posted on when this group buy gets a green light.

front end seems more planted, even though it never was a problem as far as i could tell. looks great, easy install and i feel 1000 times better at speed knowing that a tankslapper is not in my future.

Uh not for nothing, but Im grateful to Jason and SpencerCycle for setting up the last deal. My only "gripe" was that I was hoping to run my 02 at Maxton. I admit I glanced over Jasons email and didnt think to ask about ship times. I assumed (really just made an ass of myself..lol) that there was sufficient stock on the 02 dampers to ship. However, those of you who want it now should simply have to pay full retail. OTherwise a week or two wait is definitely worth the savings.
As for gambling in Vegas, lets just say spending your money with Muzzys will get you a lifetime of returns versus losing to the house in Vegas.

Here is simply a thought Doug...and I'm just throwing it out there.
Why dont you just set a time frame, and give a deadine saying the first 10 people can get the item at the price. After 10, no more. And after the deadline, no more.
Again, just a thought so we're not waiting around what little time is left this riding season.
