Riding Spirits For the PS2 - Not really happy with this game. It advertises '200 different bikes', but the open class doesn't have very many bikes in it. Other gripes include a SV400S in the 400cc class, but no SV650S in the 600cc class? Pheh... ____________

An SV650 for the 600 class? Why in the hell would a guy want an SV650 in the 600 class? SV650's race in the 450 superbike class, twins etc. They stay clear of the 600's!

I so looooooove racing games. But, I played riding spirits for something like 5 minutes and just put it down. It's lame. I just couldn't get over riding off the track into the dirt in a full lean and not crashing.

I've yet to find a good motorcycle video game that brings all the elements and variety that the Gran Turismo series has done to cars.

Got to play Moto GP for the XBox....game looks great, but to be honest, its a weekend renter and thats it, so dont rush out to buy it. Still though, it's definitely worth playing at least once or so, stoppies and wheelies are fun along with the GP style racing. But it gets boring after not too long.

Chit & I opened this thinking it was about ghosts....video games? Sheesh...
Ask me to tell the ghost story of the time we rented Sears Point for $25 a day back in the 70's...

Sorry I haven't got back to ya all sooner, finally working again after 2+ years off so I haven't been on the PC much at home lately. I'm fixing computers in the morning, & teaching computer literacy at the local night school...makes a long day. They are working me split shifts, (mornings/nights) so I'm all phked up/exhausted.
Then of course I had to fix friends computers over the weekend & missed out on the great riding weather....grrr...
I'll write this story up shortly, just no time right now as I'm trying to hang onto da new job real hard...

GP500 from microprose is still the best MC racing game I've played. Plus you can download just about any skins/physics for any 125/250/500/motogp/sbk/ama/bsb series for just about any year. The game physics are about th ebest I've seen. separate controls for leaning front to back / side to side as well as separate front/rear brakes.

played it....its worth renting the whole game, unlock everything, save it on a mem card and use it for the online game....
we got the xbox live about a month ago, early since we did beta testing on it
