Apology To Dave from Daytona
I'm sorry I didn't call you. I did keep thinking we would run in to each other. During bike week next march we need to specify a date/time so those that are interested can meet up.

Remember Harry that Last year it was Crash Dave!! And no one saw him that time either! Because a friend of mine bought a house off of route 400, I may be "Forced" to stay there as opposed to Days Inn in Titusville! So Mr. Dave, I am going to get your number and you will not have any excuses with me!!

Harry, you should apologize to Bart. I think that "double team" post of you and Ninjaman really hurt his hetero/homo sexual feelings...lol

With so few sport bikes at the biketoberfest, i don't know how any of us missed any of us.......Very disappointing! What is with Daytona Chamber of Commerce and their hatred for the festival these days?!?!?! From what i was told in the political circles, they are trying to kill it.......

Ra12, they've got "lots" of other income now. They dont need no stinkin' biker money!!

I'll let you go this time Harry. I don't know how I could have missed you and the other big boy buzzing around. Hell I even saw ZX9R running around one night.
I was thinking of having a get together here if there were enough people interested. Mr. Hill, the crash was unplanned, but I still got out and hobbled around at the races on the weekend.
ra12, where were you ? I saw more sportbikes this year than ever. The parade from the stadium Saturday night was quite a scene too.
The City of Daytona cycles between welcoming breakers and bikers and wanting to shut them down. Getting a mayor that's less than 70 years old may help a little. TB, Daytona is broke and is cutting programs trying to survive, I would think they would want to get all the business they could but they're still managing it so poorly they are losing their butts with every event. The ones that are making a killing are status bars in the area because thet know how to play the game.

Damn I had no idea. In Jacksonville, a poor budget plan results in higher taxes...EVERYWHERE. Why does my property tax keep going up in small %s every year?
Our mayor drives a nice car too...lol.
I cant believe they are broke. YOu would think with all the nice signs, and big attractions, and the Gestapo Police, Daytona would be ROLLING in duckkets.
Jeez, seems like Jersey Shore towns, that only operate 100 days a year, do better..lol

Well, Dave where was I?! You probably saw more sportbikes because you were not in the hospital this time!!! LOL I have been coming for several years and since the year that the fur bikes were doing wheelies down the strip and the guy with the bull horn was on the Cheveron station and there was like hundreds of sport bikes it has been slowing down more and more!!! This year was less than the Steak and Shake on thurs in orlando.....
I found absolutely no street racing either........maybe its the economy?!?!
