2002 zx12r

Who has seen the new zx12r at a bike show or something? The pics. on the Kawasaki site aren't the best. I have a black/gold 02 on order for Feb.

I have

They basically changed the bike from the steering neck foward. Different upper fairing, vented lower fairings, different swingarm angle. Oh and they added 2 cheesy plastic pieces on the inner fairing to cover up the headlight backs. Oh and a lower MSRP too! (Still higher than a Busa) Looks like everything will work on it (pipes, pc, lowering links, etc.)

Cool, I wondered about the aftermarket stuff, I was worried that I would have to wait for everything(pipes and stuff)to be redone for 02 , I don't plan on doing much to it right away other than trying to get through the break-in period. For touring and stuff has anyone ever seen/used Corbin BeetleBags?

I liked the looks of the 2002 when I saw it/sat on it at biketoberfest in daytona.I'm keeping my 2000 12!
I didn't like the steering head angle change (decreased cornering ability) and they made the frame less rigid to promote more feel to the rider(so they say),fuck that , give me a frame that doesn't flex.

In the brochure it says that they steering changes are to increase cornering, not decrease.

Use common sense

quote by Big 12 - In the brochure it says that they steering changes are to increase cornering, not decrease.

How is raking the steering head making it turn slower and making the frame less rigid gonna make it corner better? It's NOT. I asked the guys at GMD Computrack about the changes on the 12 and they confirmed what I already knew. The 2002 12 is not going to corner as well as the 2000 and 2001.I don't believe everything I read , not by a long shot.
