Recall for stator issue!
I took a ride from here in Richmond to Indianaoplis (100 miles one way) and back! I did a few 130 mph etc... runs! The bike ran like a champ however my right turn signal was out so I had to take a look at the undertail wires ! Bingo that was it now back up to 100% !
At that point while I had the trunk and both seats off I might as well take a look at the imfamous plugs! Mine are usually completely dry but not this time! So I went to the forums and threads about this issue. I noticed that thier is a recall on this so I called my local dealer. He asked for the vin# and then varified that my bike had not had it done. So he told me he will call me as soon as the parts are in and he will take care of it free of charge! So I think to myself (sweat)
Now that I've read more I understand that some people had the recall work done and the bike still had issues! So I was wondering what they are actually going to do?! I was wondering if they will rewire from the stator? or will the just replace the plugs?
Please let me know !
Thanks in advance!

if you solder and shrink tube(the kind with the glue in it) a new connector on, the oil wont be able to travel up the wire. also you may want to try to vent the crank case to somewhere other than the air box. the motor builds pressure internally if its up to speed do to the ram air.

KZ Scott - You are the man! Thanks for the info!
Would you happen to have pics of how one would "vent the crank case"? That would help out alot. As I'm mechanically learning I don't want to screw my pride and joy up!

I dont have pics ATM, but i cut off the little aluminum tube that coming off the back of the air box/frame that the crank case vent hose(black rubber) connects too(its under the tank), and sealed the hole with JB weld. (tig would be the best way) i then extended the rubber hose to the tail and put on a small breather/filter to keep stuff from going down the hose. something small like you may see on a valve cover of a v8 hot rod
