Good info and great photos and explanations. Do you think grinding the puller shaft on a stock clutch assembly will improve the oiling of the plates and clutch operation??

No need to "Grind" the Pusher shaft!! It's Hollow! Just Have it cross drilled!

Much simpler and fool proof. You obtain a nice dual spray inside the hub by drilling.

Whom or what did you use to drill the shaft? It is harder then the hubs of hell.

EDM....They use electric current to do the cutting.

The hole size I used is .040 in.

Check w/ any GOOD machine shop.

Great stuff Bergie...THANK YOU FOR POSTING ALL THE INFO!!!

Now some here are saying to drill the pusher, but you did a "flat"....???

I notice in some of the pics your billet basket appears to have "holes" around it's circumference? The only ones I've seen are smooth on the outside. Did you drill those? I also notice holes in the hub (3 along it's length in the first pic on left of the hub), did you drill those for additional oil too?

Thanks!

Dave

I wonder if Falicon is making them that way now, or Lee's is modding them.
