Possible 10R dreaming?
The top version is the latest rendition of what the '04 ZX-10R will look like. The bottom pic is of an earlier "concept". The untertail exhaust (notice the Akro label) is an interesting concept, but I'm not so sure it will make it into the production version. It looks like they have just taken the GP bike and made it "street legal".
Motorcycle-USA.com's comments on the reasoning of why they think is will look somthing like this sounds reasonable, but the same could be said for those early 12R speculations.

The undertail exhaust would be way cool. The lower fairing looks pretty cool too.

I'm glad theyarticle has owned up to the photoshop chop. It is a kool concept, undertail exhaust, beefy swingarm with hugger, Z1000 seat cowl, centered ram air inlet and frame slider mounting points. The article also somewhat underscores what I've been thinking all along, the ZX10R would be a spin-off of the new GP bike since it is in to 1000cc class and sports Kawi's latest technology developments. Additionally I would agree as the article states, Kawi is tired of being left out of the "comparison test" of the ultimate open class weapons R1, GSXR1K and 954. I know I'm tired of the exclusion, especially since the majority of liter bike riders will never ride any of those bike to even their street potential, let alone track potential.

was gonna buy an 03 ZX6RR, think I might wait to see if this comes out for 04, if it does guess I wil have a 01 ZX6R, and 02 ZX12R and an 03 ZX10R, oh think of the possibilities. Guess being over here in Kuwait making the extra hazard pay money could be put to good use after all.....expanding my ZX stable...heheheheh later all

I was wanting a blue 03 ZX6R as my second bike, think I'll stay away from the 10 for now. But I do like it a lot!
