It's officially out....2003 ZX-12R
Right on Kawasaki's website...they made some cool changes upgrading the overall website....
but the biggest, best change is the NEW 2003 12...check it out...notice the swingarm is now black.

It looks pretty damn good. But I have to say the old butt ugly kawi green sucks. And butt ugly green wheels to boot. It looks like the butt ugly green ZX6r. I thought Kawi had finally gotten both over and rid of that ugly ass paint!!!!!! The 00 and 01 Green is/was actually attractive. The 03 posts will be 03 12 the ugly ass green color!!!

Wow...I think my blue 12 would look awesome with that black swingarm. Is it too much trouble to get a 2003 black swingarm and have it replace my existing swingarm?
Plus, I should be able to sell my swingarm, dont ya think?

For less then a hundred dollars you can have your swing arm powder coated. Sounds like a winter project while it is storage.

All the different 2003 models are on the website. Honda has their 2003 lineup as well.
I really like the new aggressive look of the 6R and 6RR...would be nice to see the 7 with that same aggressive styling.
Also, on the 12, the vents on the lower part of the front ferring really stand out on the green colored 12. I had to relook at my bike to make sure it had those since the bike is so dark there.

Being a Gixxer 600 owner (and lovin' it) I have to say the 6 RR is a really cool bike.
Even a slipper clutch! THAT's impressive.
Too bad it only comes in babyshitgreen. That blue 6R is really nice.
Not gonna trade in my '02 12 for an '03, though.

zhool...you don't like the kawasaki lime green...its beautiful...i guess beauty is in the eyes of the beholder...that new pbm with red highlights looks good...but they left those gold rims on it, which look out of place on that bike..should have placed grey or black rims on it..being as though nothing else on it is gold...they probally will sell more of that beautiful green

Dang...a lot of green colored models offered on the 03's. And four different colors for the 6R alone, wow!
What happened to the regular ZX-6? Is the R and the RR the only 6's being made anymore?
The dealer told me the 6RR wont be as limited the same way the 7RR was when it came out. Everyone should be able to get one if they want. But that blue 6R looks ooh soo nice.

I think the Black(Blue)/Gold would look better with Dark grey or Silver wheels
since the bottom is now that color

Yeah, I like how the bottom is the same color. It also appears that the black is more of a real black, not that violet hued black that Kawi has been putting out in recent years. I guess I need to see one up close to be sure of that though.

They can't make them go faster, so now they paint them instead. Pretty soon they will start putting chrome on them.

And there's gonna be only 500 ZX6RR bikes coming to the states. Bout one per dealer.
