Need advice on Yoshi slip-on

I'd like to fit a Yoshi slip-on to my 12. Does anyone know whether it comes with a link pipe to replace the standard belly-pan to can pipe and flange as that would spoil the look of a nice new oval can.

None of the "12s fitted with Yoshi" pics I can find say it's a slip-on so it could be a full system.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Have you looked at Yosh's site?? Most od the ones I see are that way for "ONE" MAIN REASON! The stock system is in one (1) piece and what you ask would require taking a Hack saw to the stock system which is a No No! Hopes this helps!

All of the Yosh slip ons I have seen come with the bolt on flange that matches right up with your pipe. So it has the bolted flange that is not in my opinion overly pretty! I have not seen a 12 with a slip on. But I would assume it will be a bolt on. After all I do believe it is a federal offense to cut or modify your factory pipe.

Thanks

The Yoshi website describes a slip on as a can with a link pipe and describes how some cans are slip ons and some bolt-ons. The ZX7s for example it describes as bolt-on but in the case of the 12 it describes it as slip-on.

I'll have a look at the stock pipe to see if there's a joint after the collector, that'll give a clue.

I think we are getting into semantics here. What he means is just replacing the muffler only. Whether that means a "slip on" or a "bolt on" is irrelevant. He is just looking for some info on what Yoshimura offers in replacment muffler only..

The Pipe is a Bolt on, that bolts to the factory flange. Because the Pipe is Oval, it is the same "height" as the flange, so it looks okay from the side. The Yosh Flange is angled up and in, so the pipe is tucked in closer than stock.

I have one on my bike, and I'm happy.
