Sorry, I've been away.

Johnnycheese. Sold if not too late and as long as they're not damaged.

Email me - wolfracing@iprimus.com.au

I'll get details then.

Thanks.

KZ - Email coming....

Y2KZX12R - Jim, head's good. We had a shit day on race day. Pit error was the cause. Oil starvation. We played with the clutch a few times and oil was lost and not replaced. you get that so I'm getting a new crank done at Marine Crankshafts (Unless someone knows a better place?). Best thing is we know where a few problems are, especially we were way too rich.

I never thought I'd tell a guy that he does good head, but you do!!!!

Also, Johnny, what year are those cases, if they are late model, I would jump on that if the other two do not...........

Thanks Dave,

Did you change your map with the new injectors? You can use a spreadsheet like Excel to modify by a given %, then cut and paste back into the PC table.

So if you had a 350cc injector and went to a 450cc that's about 28.5% bigger. So reduce the entire table by 28.5% in Excel.

So if a particular PC map cell had a 40 in the box then it would need a 28.6 with the bigger injector.

I sent you a sheet with those injectors so you know what they flow at 3 bar. I can tell you what a stock injector flows at 3 bar when I get to the shop.
You will find you have more control of the fuel at high rpm with these Bosch injectors. They have MUCH better pattern and smaller droplet size (atomization) over the stock Denso injectors.
Make sure you are running stock fuel rail pressure of 3 bar with these thou. You don't need or want to run a higher fuel rail pressure.

The injector/fuel pump voltage table in the factory ecu may need to be tweaked for these injector if you are going to do any street riding. I'm just getting into playing with this now. But you wont have to worry about this on the track.

Johnnycheese - email me.......I'm desparate for cases.

Y2KZX12R - yes, remapped at LAE Racing. After the tune, we found out the fuel was contaminated (moisture). Thanks for the tips. I'll check with Monkey and let you know what he did.

He said he's not going to bother sending you the dyno data as the fuel was shit.

We hurt the crank a bit too, so I've ordered some more.

Cheers,

KZScott - you'll get emailed in a couple of days....

wolf,
brand new cases are "only" about $850; looking at the amount of work, it seems like a bargain.
