Brake Light
I'm not talking about anything that requires or comes as an option with an undertail kit. I am curious about what are some options that can be done to the rear brake light?
Can you swap it out for just a clear one? I like the stock break lights on the new R1.
Can you get a piece that can cover or replace the brake light to make it like two circles?
Or does everyone just leave it stock as it is?
Please post some pics of some cool looking ones.

I'm not a big fan of the clear ones, but if you're looking for one......

I've seen covers too, but really don't think those looks good (my opinion) so I don't have the source.

Hey Dave...so why dont you like the clear brake lens? They looked good on the R1, but our brake light isnt as flushed as it is on that bike. Does it look stupid? My 12 is blue like yours.
Or can people just not see it as well as the stock light?

I like the R1 tail light, flush and BRIGHT led's. I like it a lot. I've seen the clear ones in a 12 side by side with the red and I just like the red, like I said my opinion. I considered getting a clear one for my red bike, but I'm not interested in it for the blue one. I like the red/blue look.
I don't like the LED bulbs either. They don't light up the reflector as well as a regular bulb and look like a little circle in the middle of the lens, no matter what the color. Again, that's my preference.
I replaced my tail light bulbs with PIAA high intensity bulbs and it makes a good lighting difference. The more light behind me telling the blue haired lady in her Grand Marquis that I'm stopping the better. (living in Florida reference)

Thanks for the insight. And I think I'll look into those high intensity bulbs.
And feel free to enlighten us all with some more "living in Florida references".
