addicted.
I can't stop thinking about improving the '12. After yesterday's HP run at Super Sunday... its like a constant thing for me now. More power, improve, Bear stacks, better gas, lighter oil, Custom MAP - these things haunt me. This must be what a bad drug habbit feels like.
OH WELL! only 1 thing to do... FEED THE FURY!
Z, Swft - where is/are your dyno(s)? I think I'm going to start planning a trip there now ... Here's my thinking too:
1. Lighter weight/slightly less oil
2. Brandy new spark plugs (mine have 4,800 mi on em)
3. Better gas (bike was running on Mobil 93)
4. Bear stacks
5. Clear the air filter (had her on for 3,000 mi with no cleaning)
Thats it - then I need a CUSTOM MAP based on this map I have now. Must... have... new... map..

We are located (the dyno)in the Northwest. Across the water from Seattle in a town called Bremerton.
The map you have now is it a generic map or custom for your bike? If it was made for your bike was your clean air blocked off as if it were still functioning during the mapping the air fuel readings are effected.
As for your question about adding those things listed and a custom map whether 3 to 5 horsepower is possible, I would say quite possible. NUTEC and K&N's or BMC filters would do that by themselves likely. Also while the dyno software does all of the correction stuff, nothing replaces a warmed up bike rolled into a cool dyno room on a cool moist morning, no BSing around with prep sing up the dense air and just make 3 or 4 runs (until she stops showing an increase in power). Thats one of the reason I am certain my 1361 / 209.2 hp run at the end of the mapping session in a 110 degree fowl aired dyno room will make a tad bit more power on some cool morning when the time and bike are available.
