Bristol results

Gotta love them twelves!
The bikes sat in the garage from Maxton until Thursday. Chad and I swapped the counter spockets on both bikes from 18 to 16's and went to Bristol that night....no other changes. His best was a 9.44 @ 151, mine was a 9.90 @ 146.
This evening we will raise them back up and ride all day Sunday, these are GREAT machines.
I feel like Chad will be in the 9.30's in a couple weeks when we go back, should be cool by then. This was his first 1/4 mile track on his his bike, a tad more intimidating than the 600 he normally rides.
BTW, his only has a pipe and PC, stock arm and foot shifting too.

That is impressive! My best stock wheelbase was 9.55 and 60" wheelbase 9.44 and 9.59 when it was just stock motor and pipe. 40s from a stock motor is awesome!

Hey Dan, you oughtta be loving life to be sharing such a cool hobby/passion with your son! Count your blessings man!!

Would it be too much to ask you to post the short times for Chad's run? I'm just really curious for comparison's sake.
His skill is definitely showing from the 600's if he cranked out a 9.44 as his first pass! Fookin' impressive! (Damn young dogs are always nipping at yer heels!!) :-D hehe

Here's a 9.45 for me, (and another one or two) with a fooked up MPH. I'm trying to figure that out, save for it being a little humid that day.
I'm trying to see if it fell on it's face on the top end.
0.46 1.578 4.111 6.156/120.48 9.45/146.86
0.545 1.578 4.068 6.11/121.09 9.395/147.2

old pipe, LAST Oct.
0.401 1.571 4.069 6.095/121.93 9.351/149.16

The Goal to beat in 2002, also from last Oct.
0.472 1.556 4.041 6.054/122.56 9.307/149.97

The air was cold, and freakin' perfect.

BA,
Chad is dissapointed in his 60's, not near enough seat time yet. The bike makes decent power for a stocker plus he gets tucked in good on the big end, Maxton has taught us a lot.
60' 1.63
330' 4.16
1/8 6.19@121.39
1000' 7.95
1/4 9.44@150.73
Hope this helps........You are still THE MAN !!
