Ferodo rotors

OVER A YEAR IN DEVELOPMENT, the BrakeTech Superlites offer high tech features from every angle. Extensive CAD-CAM design and stress analysis combined with exceptional componentry sets the new standard for floating-button design technology in both quality and performance.
Premium Ductile Cast Iron is the heart of the BT Superlite full-floating rotors. Machined from continuous cast 6 ton iron ingots, this expensive process produces unequaled micro-structure with virtually no porosity. The computer controlled manufacturing process guarantees much greater thermal stability than individual (mold) castings or rotors laser cut and / or stamped from sheet. The result: high strength and unparalleled performance where it counts! Plus a feel at the brake lever that's incomparable!!
Other leading edge design features include lightweight carriers CNC machined from solid aerospace quality aluminum billet, then hard anodized for added durability. Optional Gold Teflon thermal bonded carriers are available as

are they loud, as in when you are riding slow and not applying the brakes?
i had ferrodos on my zx11 and they made a chain dangling type sound when i was going slow and didnt have the brakes on. is that normal because they are free flaoting that they should do this?

The noise depends on the "Strength" of the wave springs! use the heavier springs and no noise! Second, anyone remember "KalGard"!! That is what the disc are painted with! KalGard is extremely heat and corroision resistant!

thanks vincent,
what springs do they come with? do you need to buy additional springs and swap them out? i loved the stopping power of my ferrodos but they would rust nightly unless i wiped and dryed them daily, and again, loud, very chain clangly loud at low speed.
so the calguard will keep them from rusting?

Call Jeff Gheres at 909-471-3476 Tell him that you have the "Road Racer" Wave Washers and want the street "Wave Washers" Trust ME, THIS WILL!! Remove the clank clank Noise!
The "K" KalGard is what they spray them with to keep everything "EXCEPT" the sweapt area from Rusting! The sweapt area "ALWAYS RUSTS" the brakes are made out of Iron that does not have Nickel in it! Do not wory about the rust! The first use removes it every time! Beauty is as Beauty Does! (High Nickel aka Stainless Steel does not rust or at least as much) Iron stops better and rusts like hell! You have seen the HD with "Chrome" Brake Discs!
Tell Jeff Hello for me!

First you would have to get Swft's definition of work. Then there is the part where he usually works when we all sleep and then he plays when we all work and then he falls a sleep in the weirdest places!
