If I remember right I think 90km is about 60 mph. km confuse me! Damn ZX12 speedo has enough numbers on it already, can't imagine having to look at it with 320 km on it!!!

50khp = 32mph is the closest conversion i know of. but a very common rule of thumb and an easier number to work with is 80kph = 50mph

if i remember correctly, 1 mile is 5280ft, is that correct? in that case

5280ft * 12in/ft = 63360in * 2.540000000cm/in (lots of zeros here) = 160934.4cm / 100000cm/km = 1.609344km/mile

hm..so the 50/80 conversion was more accurate than i realized. guess 50/32 aint that accurate. must be 52/30

anyway, i made sure to write my distance units in my posts fer all u mericans livin in the stoneage of scientific notation

Don't know how factual it is.... but I read that part of the Collin Edwards, HONDA GP ride for next year the big sponsor for the team is going to be Bridgestone. I hope it is the case. The more manufactures that are active and agressive in racing there are will result in better tire technology and pricing for all of us.

I like the Pilots but my handlebar shake is making me rethink about how good my 12's agreeing with them.

Pirelli???

Did I hear someone mention my precious Pirelli's? Ted, I have run 2 set of Pirelli Dragons on my 02 ZX12R in the past 6 months, i was getting about 5500 miles out of a front and 3500 out of a back. I never had the Pirelli's on the track, but i rode the stock 208's up at Deals Gap, and rode the Dragons up the gap a few times(the advantages of living in Georgia only 6 hours from the gap) and got about the same amount of traction. The advantage of the Dragons is that they eliminated my head shake at high speeds(160 to 170) and dont ask where i was going that fast at! I plead the 5th. I have ordered a set of M1's for the 12 next they are cheaper than the Pirelli adn i hear good things about them. The 12 will be shod and reskinned when i get back from Kuwait, and ready to ride. < no I didnt drop it, the old lady did, but i am getting a cool new paint job out of it so i am all happy> holler at you all later.....Jim
