last month i get pulled over on the local service road. all im doing is the speed limit looing to scrub off some shit from my new rear tire. so the cop walks up and asks for my shit, i say that i left my wallet in my truck 10 blocks away. SHE says to hand on and shes gonna run my name.
25 minutes later, 2 more patrol cars pull up and i know it aint going well at this point. she comes back and tells me that im in big trouble. mind you that i JUST graduated from the police academy, and applied to 3 different agencies , all of which have run background checks on me and i know that i am clean as a whistle.
she tells me that i am driving under suspension and to please get off of the motorcycle. so i tell her the deal and she looks confused as hell but calls a tow truck anyway. then i beg and she lets me call a freind to come get the bike (zrxchris fom labusas). she drives me home issues me a ticket for driving under suspension and tells me good luck.
turns out that the court never sent dmv the info that i cleared a ticket from 6 months prior. that was wiped out immediately and back to business as usual.
almost got very fucked

i'v had the same thing happen to me, but fortunately i never got stopped. i jsut received a letter one day saying i had a 4 month suspension. i called in asking why, and sure enough the court had not informed them that i had a ticket dropped. i find it amazing that that can happen.

So how do you get around then? Just curious what people do since we depend on transportation of some sort.

i don't get around much to begin with. jsut walk, get rides, and take the bus. couse, i dont wanna do that so i try not to lose my license

we have a morale DSN to call out on, sorry it took so long to reply to ya BB, but I was out playing army here in the beach with no watter. I have the net set up to my laptop in my tent, and they have the MWR tents set up and and internet cafe. Along with some other things for the guys. But I spend to much time in the sand playing army to really get to enjoy them. I guess its just all part of the job.....lol Oh by the way BB what is your MOS, I have been meaning to ask ya and forgot? And where are you stationed out of? Later Jim

lol, I wish I had that kind of time.....I am to busy out in the dam desert to think about playing cards or bones. I am a 19D Cav Scout. And I have a very young group of guys so we train all the time to get them up to speed. and what better place to train than 8 miles for the border of a country that you are bombing the shit out of....Military Intelligence, I think not....later Jim

been about 85 during the day and prolly between 50 and 60 at night, but the wind never stops, so 50 feels like 40.

turned the heaters on the showers on the other day so they are great, MRE's suck, I eat campells and ramen
