billet upper triple clamp pics

OK, borrowed a camera, took a little figuring out but I'm smarter than it is Here's the clamp with the Helibars.

Had to drill new alignment hole and rotate the throttle cables down under the brake lever. Could've went a bit further down for clearance at full pull of the lever but the tire would be locked up by then anyway. Once new braided lines are installed there will be enough slack to tip the lever up a bit to exactly where I want it. Had to straighten the stock banjo fitting a bit to get enough slack as it was. Now the line is almost as tight as a banjo string but it'll work for a week or so.

The rest of the pics show the clearances to the fairing at full turn (and my homemade V-1 mount ). This should give a full 2 inches of rise on the inside and about 3 at the outside. Going for an overnighter on Friday, I'll post back on just how nice they work.

EDIT: Oops, meant to go here

I also redrilled the location pin hole for the throttle cables! My question is "Why" you did not just remove the "Y" fitting from the bracket on the lower tripple clamp! Just unbolt and cut it apart!

The 2002 Mirrors look a lot better!!

Cut apart? Please eplain, I'm open to suggestions. If you mean the junction? Well, the thing reached as it was and it doesnt move in relation to the resivor, besides I didn't want it just dangling around. Most of all I needed, well not really but it helps, some justification to the wifey a reason for braided lines LOL!.

'02 mirrors,....???? Those are '00's.
