ECU Problem

I have been working on setting up my ECU to tune myself. I opened up the computer exposed the 8 port plug, and kept checking to make sure the bike still ran. After soldering in the 8 pin connector, my bike runs intermittently. Sometimes for 5 seconds, sometimes for a minute. When its running no FI light. I cant get any codes out of it through the diagnostic wire. I dont know what to do. Any help please!!!!!!!!!!!!

I crossed both pin layouts for the ecu on the 2000-2001 vs my 03. Looks like 10 pins or so need to be moved in the ecu pins.

I have been you better believe it. I just hate the first ride jitters every spring because I forget just how fast the 12 is. And I dropped my front sprocket over the winter. Big jump in takeoff...love it

well watch it; I found unseed bridge rises I never had before after changing the gearing. Scared myself silly w/a past vertical wheelie over a unseen rise (small bridge) in one of my favorite straights.

Woah! As I went past vertical at 145mph. Rear brake saved me....talk about skid marks in the leathers...
