Finally Got it. (New Bike) Yesterday I finally picked up my new 02. Boy was it a great feeling, how I missed riding. Pick it up in the morning had to go right from the dealers to work. Then had to attend a board Dinner meeting until 8:45 pm. Went right home after that put on the leathers and went to scrub off the slippery stuff they put on the new tires. Rode until 1:00am. Had to be at work at 7:00am. I'm a little tired, but happy. The sacrifices we make.

Welcome aboard! Nothing quite like the thrill and excitement of the new bike. Should I go to work or ride? Should I sleep or ride? I wonder if it'so OK in the garage? Maybe I should wax it again!!!

The first week is the hardest. Getting up in the middle of the night since you cant sleep cause your mind cant get away from the feeling of riding the 12. So you walk outside, and walk around your 12 over and over again with this huge permanent smile plastered on your face. Then you look for an excuse to go somewhere, take it out on a ride.
This can repeat up to four times in any given night. I'm an addict. There are many 12's out there, but this one is mine. I'm addicted to speed. I'm a true Ninja.

Hehe, got mine Saturday. Trying to live with the color.
Rolled it right off the truck with 1 mile on it at Beech Bend Raceway to "break er in"...lol
