ZX12R - Hayabusa
If you like fast bikes -
why didnt you buy a Hayabusa instead?
Thats a question i get sometimes..

This argument could go on forever.
There are pros and cons to both bikes.......
In the right hands, they both do very well.........
Take a stock motored busa, at 68 inches, with no bottle and line up next to me and see what you think......

The 12 is fast and unique...everyone has a Busa.
That being said, the Busa is a better platform for all-out hp. The fastest bikes in the world are Turbo Busas.

I love my 12 and its always been kawa for me!
But everybody knows the Busa - noone knows the 12!

it used to be that way around here too, then i started beating every busa i went up against. if they don't know what a 12 is at first, they definitely remember after watching the tail lights fade away in the distance.
besides, busas are too trendy.

at maple grove john had a 06 busa stock but down
1 in the front.. ran in the high 9.7s. but it needed a
high 1.5 60ft to get that. there is no doupt the busa
will make a poor or average dragracer look good.
john was good on his busa. but ido not know what
mine would do stock anymore.they usually do not believe ican
get what i get on the 12. sort of fun and sort of sucks they
discredit it imeaditly cause it is not a busa. i respect the
busa. but please respect mine also cause if you mess
up at all i will get you on top end with my short bike.
and maybe even hand you 4 to 5 mph.

+1 on drag racing, last year at the midnight drags, i had the quickest street bike there. the fastest was my buddies 12 running some giggle gas. the top end is crazy on these things

if the busa has a better style / other look -------- i would buy one !! as like the gsxr 1000
much easier to work and to tune her !!! the spare parts are cheaper !!!!!

I agree that the Suzuki's are way easier and cheaper to tune and build, I've had a Busa and a Gsxr1000, I just got so sick of seeing them everywhere I went. That's why I got my ZX12, half the people don't even know what it is when you pull up. lol I love being ORIGINAL, not a CROWD FOLLOWER !!!!

What i like most about my 12 is that most people that see it automatically think ZX6R or ZZR600 because they bear the very similar front fairings. I just shake my head and nod at red lights......yep..............600................

the 12's are faster and look alot better and everyone dont have a 12. the kaw will take you home the busa will leave you on the side of the road. i have had both only keep the busa for like a month hated the clutch system and just the fact that everyone had one. i have have everything from the 97 zx6r to a 2007 zx10r and all in between. right now i have a 03 zx12r and a 04 zx10r both pretty quick and in the street which i dont do anymore i am unbeaten by the big bad busa. f*** busa's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! just wish they made more parts and was easier to find for the 12's. anyone know where to find a extended tail section at a good price and a air shifter kit pretty cheap. thanks and keep on riding the kaw's

Forgetting the other above mentioned aspects -
I thought the ZX12 looked good, and the BUSA was dammed ugly.

i like to explain my feelings in detail.... sorry i love to type i get carried away. i think i have one of the most prettiest 12's around i had the frame and swing arm and tail section paint hyper silver and waiting on my new wheels to come in will complete my winter mods. thanks
