K&N Oil Filter
Anyone know if the K&N Oil filter is Ok to use on the 12? I've heard some horror storys about after market oil filters and don't want to hurt my engine ? On the other hand, K&N claims theirs is a superior filter.

Think of it this way: If you ever have a problem with the filter, and it destroys the engine, who ya gonna go to? K&N? Yah, right!

Stock is best, especially when it's under warranty, plus the stuff works, why fuck with that for a buck or two?

I can tell you that a couple of the large privateer teams that were using the K&N oil filter suffered failures and have gone back to using there factory OEM filters. I would suggest staying with the factory filter. K&N is world renown for their Air filters, not necesarily for their oil filters.
