12Rs in the UK
Hi guys and gals, haven't been on the forum for sometime but I'm still running my Y2K 12 over here mainly on quarter mile sprints. Like a time trial on old WW2 runways, not drag racing.
I lost my 1270 motor a couple of years back and now have a stock bore replacement using Carillo rods, Ape studs and JE pistons otherwise the motor is stock. So I'm using a 50 shot to make up the other 70cc's I had and have run 9.08/157. Also have run the bike on a flyer going through the traps at 207.9mph hitting the gas late in 4th because I only have a 2lb bottle.
So thats me up to date, now aged 72 but still trying for that elusive 8 second run - maybe this year!
It seems to me that the 12 is fast disappearing from competition over here, the 14's haven't really taken off, very rare to see one competing and the general move seems to be towards the Busa with turbo. I think its a shame but that's the way its panning out.

if im still able to drive when im 72 let alone do that! ill be a happy man! congrats! im hoping for the 8 sec pass this coming season too. been soo close. keep it up Mr Parnell. you are only as old as you feel. im sure you are 18 every time you are on that bike 
your son seems to know a bit about turbos, maybe have him put a gt35 on your 12
