Help finding a Dynojet facility to do a map?

I am looking for a place that will do a map for my ZX-12R. I know that they are listed at their site, but the places that were around seemed to specialize in Harleys.

Are there any facilities on the south side of Chicago, IL?

Nearest one I found in the area that was oriented towards sportbikes is MD Racing in Orion, Ill. I know it's kind of a hike, about a five hour drive for me, but it's nice to go to a shop that speializes in sportbikes. If you want to check it out mdracingstp.com. Charged me $200 for the map and it's a dynojet shop. Mine was the first 12 he did.

Matt out in Orion will do a fantastic job. He is at 309-526-3246. I have worked with Matt for the last 2 years and he is a perfectionist. He will take good care of you. If you want to stay closer to home, I would use either 4 and 6 Racing in Skokie or Win Racing in Naperville. I know 4 and 6 will get you going and I believe Brian at Win Racing will do custom maps. 4 and 6 is at 847-763-9900 and Brian is at 630-978-8856. I am a south side boy and do not know of any shops down there...

Well, thanks for the replies. After reading I am leaning toward taking a road trip to Orion. I'll have to draft some friends for this little trip and call ahead to make sure everything works out. I honestly believe that a custom map is the best option, so I'll take the road trip. I'll call them and see what Matt says, thank you for the recommendation.

Hey charlie.... Take a moment on your trip or cruise to the dyno to mark your throttle with a piece of tape or something to indicate to your dyno operator the throttle position you typically cruise at. It is a small thing, but simple and it will allow your dyno guy to not only work on your map for power etc. but also insure that your bike at cruising speed is mapped spot on for economy and safety. Safety being a safe air/fuel ratio.

We have customers come in with bikes that have air/fuel levels that are dangerously lean in the throttle position they cruise at. And occasionally they come in fat as heck in that area. Just a tid bit for you to think about.
