05 zx12r ecu
anyone have a ecu from a 05 zx12 from a wrecked bike for ridge racer to look at for hacking?

It up Dr. Ryan Scarsella, he's mainly on the 12 board but if you have a specific message I can pass it to him.
He has an 05 that went 186 @ Maxton "derestricted" with the Gpack so we never found out if it actually worked as far as a derestrictor.
Crazi's bike went 184.7 mph with a 17 tooth so ... same thing...inconclusive evidence.
Not sure if Ryan is racing anytime soon...he may be willing to send his ECU in if he gets one back with 600 more RPM...lol

ship i sortof asked for one off a wrecked bike cause i know his process and it may involve cutting it open.
can you ask him if it is a denso or mitsub brand. i imagin he just has to look at it to tell. that would be a start.
if they are like busas there are maps for the subthrottles that are all the same. and are different groups for gears you could have them open up all the way quicker in first and stay open upper gears what ever you want. if it is denso 32 bit there is a good chance.
the susike guys are lucky. you guys should hear all the stuff they are doing for the 1000 and busa. it makes me mad sometimes. not enough people who have 12s care or know how to program to help out the process.
the dirt guys using the 12 engine are using the rr mod but as of yet the zx14 has not been cracked. it has been a mitsub model.
there is suspose to be a person comming to a show who is going to offer a gismo to re flash motorcycle ecus but what and whos rr has not herd.
this was a great project and it is benifiting the susike guys.

I looked all over Canada, junk yards and so forth trying to find one for RR to flash but couldn't find one for less than $500. Ship,, correct me if Im wrong but as far as a destrictor goes I believe the gain in flashing the ecu in the 12's is to move the rev. limiter by a thou. rpm is it not??? I have a gpakk on my 04 12 and it works great. tested it against my buddies 10 and it made a difference in top end. Before the bike seemed to stop pulling around an "indicated" 175mph and slowly stop at "indicated" 186mph.. With the gpakk the speedo doesn't slow but pulls right to an indicated 200mph, there abouts and then just flops over to the other side of the speedo around 40mph and just hovers... The cool thing is that the tach will pull another 1500rpm to the limiter...never did that before.. Now for the record everyone know those indicated number are completely inaccurate....!!! but it does show that it was restricted before and the gpakk removed it....

kingquick. pull yours out and see if it is a denso brand. if it is and he has time and gets one it should be possable. but it will ultimatly be up to him getting one and having time to do it.
if anyone totals a bike pull the 04 or 05 ecu out before the insurence company gets it.
i may pull out my ecu on the connie to see the brand. if it is mitsu then that sucks.

ok so there is someone out there that xrays and said he would do it for the cost of the film.
so if we get someone to get thier ecu (04 to 05) xrayed ridge racer when he can, can just open up only the area to put the plug. then we are in. but the guy that does the xraying needs to also get in contact.

also the 32bit ecu can be flashed from the plugs after the first ecu gets the program uploaded.
