Those are dunlop race rain tires. Would NOT be a good idea to go street riding with them...They are soft soft soft... Soon as it dries out, they start to melt.

Oh but they are a kick in the ass for about 25 miles or so in the dry.

About six years ago, when I got my first motorcycle, I was living in the Tacoma/Seattle area. Learned how to ride literally in the rain. I had just moved to WA, and I remember it raining non-stop for 4 months straight. That first motorcycle was outfitted with some Metzlers which were SUPERB in the rain. Hydroplaning down the interstate next to 18-wheelers, those Metzlers were awesome. I love to ride in the rain, just allow more time for braking.

Biggest problem I've had riding a 12 in heavy rain is hydroplaning. Couldn't go over 60mph, before that 200 would lift up off the pavement and spin freely.
