stack height

01 zx12

billet outer basket,stock hub...

no lock up,just heavy springs...

what stack height you all using?

you using the half width fibre at the back still??

mostly street bike,occasional trip to the drags...

2.24 to 2.27 is the spec....I use all stock plates and the 2 steel rings too, if you want you don`t have to you prolly won`t notice the differenve.....

put them all on a flat surface lightly oiled and mic them and they need to be on the higher side of specs,,the higher the better without exceeding specs mic the whole stack instead of each plate

Hey Mike whats up?......Like Stuart and twista says 2.24-2.27 and they need go to the higher side of the specs. ...I use all 2.0 steels w/ a slider. Just modiy the stock inner, you have the Basket covered already

some guys have broken the "skinny" fiber that uses the anti chatter rings, but ive been fine with mine in my 1287 w/90 shot. just remember if you put a set of calipers on the whole stack you have to compress the anti chatter rings or it may mess up the reading (read too high). go for the mid-migh end of the spec to have the correct angle on the puller. (in the manual)

any you guys run the cycle concepts drag pak clutch???? it is special plates(fibres and steels) he had made..the guys on pychobike all rave about them..... thats the pak i have going in,was just wondering about the height......

he sent the skinny fibre,and a extra regular one,so you get to choose what set up to run....

Let us know how they work for you....I just tried some Hyper Plates and they stuck like glue, not what I want for MY setup with a lockup....I just could not get them to slip one bit....What was the price on the set???Good luck with it....

Im probly going to try the cycle concepts clutch this yr. its basically muzzy steels but better(?) frictions
