Hindle Talks about 02 map
On Labusas web site, Lee Hindle verified that they had indeed sent Dynojet the Step Tube System so that they could make maps for the 02 AND 00 & 01 ZX12R's He did restate that the "Best" map is the one made just for your bike!!

finally..alot of boyz over at zx-12r.org have been waiting for that news....me i'll try both the stanard and the step on my 02 and if i not happy i'll do the custom thing.

All the DynoJet maps that I've seen..."aren't very good" (for us in Florida anyway)...
Custom maps are the ONLY way to fly...IMHO...

The map that "Hindle" himself made on KingZX12R's bike was a great start! and Now I have a map that works fairly well on anyone's 00 or 01 ZX12R! At least now. everyone will have a "Start" where as before, they had "NOTHING"!! Kevin, how are you doing anyway!!

I met Lee Hindle at a Parts Unlimited show here not long ago and he seems like a very good and honest guy. He mentioned Vincent Hill (hey Vincent  ) and that some "testing" has been done on the step pipe. I can't wait until I "obtain" the funds for one cause that will be my next pipe...

If I were "Rich", I would pay them to "Tig" Weld the entire pipe so I could have my current level of Performance and the Beautiful welds of an Akrapovic I miss! Of course this would double the Price which would be the same price as an Akrapovic!
When I was In Uxbridge at Lang's House I met Lee! Of course this was 1994 so he is now about 28 years old?? Of course Hindle (Lang) is still younger than me, but still should be around "50"!! A real self made man! Started with Minus Zero! all done on his own! Has a limp worse than mine!

the dynojet facility is in Arizona or somewhere out there in the desert, isn't it?
Not exactly a great place to make general maps I wouldn't guess, no wonder they don't work well in Florida!  (or many other places)

I just e mailed them and will post the reply. The serpent map run very well on my bike in Hawaii.

We still have not received the exhaust from Hindle. As soon as we do we will develop a map for it. Thanks.
This is a e mail I just recieved from Dyno jet, why not send the first pipe so at least one map could have been made?

I see dyno jet put 2 hindle maps out on the 11th. One is a 4-1 and the other is a 4,2-1 design for the 02. I thought the pipe where just alittle different, this is a whole new pipe.

vince..which is which...is the 4-1 the step hindle and the 4-2-1 the regular hindle?

They are both step hindle maps the 4-1 is the first pipe and the 4,2-1 is the second gen pipe.
