Seals on my ZX12r/ 2002

Anyone out there know how difficult it is to change the seals on a 12? I have to get it running right. I'm not getting max torque or horsepower. If anyone out there can assist me it would be greatly appreciated. P.S. I need to change the seals because there is a slight oil leak. Thanks

which seals are you refering to?

typically the seal around the cam cover has a lil leaking, but this will not impact hp.

What do you mean seals? Seals have nothing to do with horsepower or torque.

Do you mean rings?

OK....then help me understand what it is I'm dealing with. ( I've only had my 12 for a year and I want to fix everything thats wrong with it before it gets worse and more costly!) I roll the throttle and I feel the power yet its no punch! I also hear a light ticking if I open the clutch and coast a bit...? Do you think an over all tune up is needed at this point or is it even worth it? and last but not least my F.I. light comes on when my RPM's run past 7k.... Just looking to keep my bike running and in top shape. Help me out if you can- Thanks
