Atco Drag Races
Hi All,
I was down at Atco in south Jersey Today Watching the Races Alot of Bikes. I watched Ricky Gladston (hope I spelled it right)do a nice run. Any body from the board there today I saw a few 12's.

I was there fri and sat and there were a lot of streetbikes mostly busas.I was disappointed that the streetbike shootout guys ran only eight mile.Did you go over to the dirt bike track?I think Rickey Gadson ran 5.20's in the eight mile.

We won the Shootout class over Kent's Honda. Set both ends of the 1/8 mile records. Runner up to Jim Carroll's 12 in teh Formula Superbike class.

Hey Ted did you go over to the dirt bike track?They have a nice facility at Atco for street bikes and dirt bikes.I'm taking my built zx11 with nos up there next month.

There were some fast busas and zx9's , didn't see many zx12's .I saw one silver run some 9.40's.

I didn't get a chance to go over to the dirt bike track but I will next time I'm there. I have a Husky 610 also so maybe I will check it out.
Let me know when you'll be there and I will come watch it only an hour from my house.

I was there friday night,ran a 8.85.Did not stay for the races,had to get home to install a Stealth nos kit.The kit is in but I am having some wiring problems.Kurt and I are working them out looks like just a bad switch harness.Hope to have it fixed for this weakend.Then we can realy blow away some Busa's.

I was there Friday night I had my red 12 parked by the stands, it seems like every other bike was a busa, I seen a couple of gsxr 1000 run in the 9.3 to 9.4 range, Robert has a very fast Busa but the Velocity Busa was really moving.

We were there for the week-end, my son made it to the semi-finals in the 600 Supersport class. his best for the finals was a 9.92.
It was a shame for the "fast" bikes to be limited to the 1/8th but the track was so bumpy and with guardrails the whole distance it's not a place to be going 240mph!
Jim Carroll ran a 'smokin 5 flat which probably would have been in the 7.80's for the quarter...one quick 12.

I was there on sunday!!!...Saw Rickey do a 5.14 on the SBS Turbo12...Then Beat Kents Honda with a 5.16...
I wanted to see Pat Leonard or Eddie Krawiec beat Schnitz in the 600ss race...Maybe next race???...Sorry Doug, I race with them!!!
