i would think u can remove the level sensors cant u? either go the old fashioned route & just keep an eye on ur tripmeter, or somehow build in a reserve w a petcock, or even carry a tiny jerry can in da trunk. depending on where all the weight in the sensor is, maybe u can save the majority by cutting off the top 7/8 of the sensor, so it still lets u know when u'r hitting reserve. i'm sure u can make urself a different gas cap too. not to mention there ought to be a light weight fuel pump available.

My EBC Prolite rotor is installed and has gone 184 mph today.

They are lighter. I did not measure the difference. Just snaged the unit, cruised home and put it on. I did do some swearing as I hate taking the rear tire off and puting it on by myself. Could Kawasaki had more parts and pieces involved with the rear wheel and tire?
Remember, that fat ass and gut is merely stored horsepower!!!

I am going to order up one of those thirdhand units. Saw them in a magazine and checked them out on the net. They look like the ticket for installing tires without a back ache!

Ya know, one thing I noticed hanging out at the Hooters pits was how they held up a bike when they had to work on the swingarm, etc. They used jack stands under the rearset footpegs. That let them drop the bike down off the rear stand, and have the whole back end free to move around. Since I have the Gilles rearsets, and solid footpegs, I'm thinking I could do the same thing, and just roll the tire into place while I'm trying to get all the other stuff lined up, vice holding it with my foot. ____________
