I would assume that the same amount of timing would work on the newer 12s. you could check with RR and see if the total amount of advance is the same and go from there. if its the same use the same timing, if its different, adjust accordingly. putting around lugging the engine(low rpm high gear) with a bunch of advance is a bad thing though. you can get away with more when you are racing and revving the bike
