If one of you has a group picture of the first gap event post up, that would be great. Rick, Otis or Sherm should have one.

Not sure when I joined Bikeland, it was after I called Dale a fag and he banned me from .org. LOL

I'm still hanging in there. I haven't been on the board lately but back in the day I was on here EVERY day. I've met a bunch of good people from this board and hope to meet a few more!
Still have the 2000 12 and the silver book (and lots of "extras").
I remember all the crashes at Lab's and this place finally gave us a "home'. (No more "red headed stepchild status")

...holy-kaw!!!!...I think I'm sorta' O.G. here...where do I begin?...all I know is that I crashed my 12R on Hwy 36(?) the second year, was in severe pain, and had a beer&midol epiphany near the foxhill bonfire and my name was forever changed to worm~hole...
...ZX-10R&Vulcan200 test ride @ KMC Irvine...bought a 10R because of it...trips to yosemite/sequoia with ddpete...long-ass road trip to dino's house...met the bikeland admin/owners, too...PK's and my riding skills were moderate back then, and I'm still have a ways to go, but look at her now!!!...
...hey, remember we all stayed at speed150's place?...dino trunk-modded my 12R at speed's machine shop as I watched fish get all fluckstered with modding the power chord of his chatterbox for direct power supply from his 12R...frEEK had freeky blue hair...
...foxhill was always super-crowded on the weekend with campsters...hey PK remember middle-of-the-road-guy?...one year I attempted to show the cops at the track how to make the traffic flow better when the race was over...met ozzy, TedG, swft, and Mr. Blair...met lots of the notorious labusas gangsters...even got a signed muzzy t-shirt from Mr. Doug Meyer himself...I remember the scramble and phone calls from foxhill to "clean things up" when bikeland and labusas was lit up on the leader pole LOL...
...later bought a KLR650 and a KLX400SR...was annointed moderator @ the dualsport-zone for a while...I've met lots folks in cyberspace @ the smackhouse and continue to be educated and entertained by all...someone more computer savvy than me needs to post more pics of the early days...memories...I still have my 12R and my silverbook, too

Thx Vincent, you make me blush
I didn't really fade, just got other interests. Like cruising through Europe with a ST1300. Not something I would want to do on a ZX12R. Still miss that stupidly fast thing though

It is ALL Your fault! I did not care about the internet or "Boards" but started reading what you were saying about the NEW ZX12R and the rest is history! I think if there was a vote taken, for who got us into this, I think your name would be at the top of a very short list!
Thank you my friend for all you did for us and specially me!
