help with busted aftermarket header pipe...
Has anyone dented the 2 lower pipes... or broken the welds of their "aftermarket header"? Sitting on the bike its the right outside header pipe, the one comming out on top of the other two.Its broken completly in two!! The two lower pipes are dented and scraped ???? not severe just small dent in one and a scrape on the other.
I have never straped or lowered the bike in any way. Now I do my fair share of wheelies but cannot figure out how the dents got on the pipe? and more importantly why the fecker broke in two? I was thinking faultly prouduct but I guess I am at fault. NO warrenty....must buy new pipe,,, ARRRRGH! will try and post a pic...

A good fabricator can make it like new. Too bad you are not here, I have a friend that is about the best on this planet.

Who's aftermarket pipe and what is the material of the aftermarket pipe? Stainless is something pretty common for guys to weld, The Ti gets crazy. You might try calling or E-mailing the pipe manufacture. Sometimes the manufactures are amazingly helpful.

You should be able to get it repaired.I would check in your local area.If it's Titanium it can be repaired also. You may want to check with someone that welds on aircraft as there is quite a bit of Ti on the larger aircraft.
