Which front master cylinder for a 12
I was reading the post for Dans boys bike...the zx10 and noticed they used the 636 front master. I was wondering which master would be considered an upgrade for the 12
I also wondered if the different year models vary ....ie If I used the 03/04 636 radial
I could use my ASV lever.
I could be reading to much into things....the 12 master may be fine with a set of zx14 calipers........Let me know what you think..

I am using the stock master, with EBC prolite rotors and EBC HH pads and it stops very well.
If I were going to put a Master on the bike I would probably use the radial off a newer ZX10 or ZX14......you really coulndt go wrong putting the entire brake system off a ZX14 onto your ZX12....Master and calipers.
NOTE: I am running a 06 636 Master on my 04 ZX10R as the stock is garbage......

I got my eye on the 6.75in Piuma Marvic rear wheel right now (i dream a lot) I dont think the BSTs come that wide. guess ill use the BSTs for LSR and the Piuma Marvic for drag use. right after i win the lottery lol

I've got dymag carbon fiber wheels on my gsxr1k. Although expensive in my opinion they are worth it. I had to adjust my brake markers on the race track. I got better acceleration, braking, and handleing from the wheel change. Some of the euro mags were claiming up to 2.5 (2.5 mile track)second reduction on the track. I personally noticed about a .5 second drop in lap times on a 1.2 mile road race course.
I race in the expert group however i don't claim to be one. I'm sharing my experiences to give yourself something to guage.
I have a brembo master cylinder (19x20) on my gixxer. I took the stock nissan from my 1000 and put it on my 02 zx12. Its a nice improvement and cheap.
