Off topic.....my new toy.
Days are getting shorter and it will soon be too cold to ride here. So I built myself a new winterime toy to play with. Below are pics of my new home theater. The screen is 106 inches diagonally, or just over 8 feet wide. :-)
The sound system is a 6.1 channel Dolby Digital/DTS surround with 1000 watts of power.
Forgive the poor quality of the pics, my digital camera is a cheap one. I'll take better pics soon.

No, frEEk... but I do think that it just you and me who are the po' boys here. New houses, new 'Vettes, garages full of tools that are worth more the my house and all the other toys that the other folks have blows my mind so much, I can't imagine.
WAIT A MINUTE! WHO just got back from spending... how long was it?... in Japan? Again, I stand alone as the board's po' boy. I'm just happy I can make payments on my bike, my trailer and my Craftsman tools.
The funny part is that I'm not jelious or anything like that. I just hope I can get to watch some DVD's at zx11_12 place!

WOW! Nice NICE NIIIIICE. I thought I was cool with my Dolby Digital 6.1 and NHT/Velodyne Sub... my system is a tricycle compared to that one! I think I need a new job...

Nice work! I read those high end audio mags and I like the idea. I am glad to see that you went all out and built everything in.

Thanks Guys, you are all invited over anythime you are in the area. That's what I built it for, to enjoy with friends. Just let me know if you are going to be in the Huntington, WV area and we'll fire it up. 
Fish...no the speakers are Paradigms... Monitor 9 mains with a cc 370 center, ADP 370 dipole srrounds, klipsch IW-250 center surround and a paradigm sw-2200 sub.
For anyone else who cares,
the reciever is a Marantz SR-6200 6.1 channel with 105 watts per.
Projector is a Yamaha DXP-1 DLP.
Monster PB-1100 power conditioner
Sony DVP-NS315B DVD player
Home Theater Master MX-500 remote
etc...
I may have to start charging admission to pay for it though.

when i eventually get my shit together & move to pwmberton, i may actually do just that. get like 20 seats in there (at least), make it at least that size of a screen, and charge like $1 or $2 fer people to come watch, cause there aint no theater in pemberton. or better yet, they procide their own movie, & i just rent the place out fer $1 a head, cause that way i cant get in trouble fer public showing of a film. would help pay fer the setup & give locals (most of which dont have $10 to spend on a movie anyhow) a chance to watch a flick on a nice screen.

Bzzzzzzt - WRONG!!! I quit the Navy in May, still aint got a job (holding out for the one I want). My vehicles registration ran out in July, still aint got legal plates yet - costs too much. Living on savings SUCKS! Funny, I still seem to be able to make the bike payments tho...
